Local Pick-Up Option

Local pick-up can be arranged within the Greater Boston Area. There will be no shipping charges for local pick-up orders. To place an order to be picked up locally, please send me a note using this contact form. You can also visit my Facebook Page and send me a private messsage to place an order. Please be sure to include the quantity/size/color (as appropriate) when ordering by this method.

Payment Policy

All orders placed through this online store must be paid by PayPal.

Orders to be picked up locally can be paid by check or credit card in addition to PayPal.

Shipping Policy

All items from Shiawase Handmade are packaged with love and care. Orders with multiple items will be packaged and mailed together unless otherwise requested by the buyer. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that shipping information is correct.

All domestic packages (within US) will be shipped by USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail, depending on the weight of the package. International packages will be shipped by First Class International Package Service.

The estimated transit time for domestic mail is about 3-5 days, depending on the ZIP code. For international locations, packages could take 1-2 weeks to reach the destination. Please note that these transit times are merely estimates and the actual shipping time could vary.

Refund/Exchange Policy

Your satisfaction is Shiawase Handmade’s #1 priority! If for any reason you are not happy with the item after you receive it, please do not hesitate to contact me and we will work it out together.

If you change your mind before the item is shipped, please contact me ASAP, and I will work on cancelling the order. In this case, you will get a 100% refund (less fees).

If the item arrives damaged, please send me a message describing the damage within 7 days of receiving it (picture(s) might be needed in some cases), we can arrange for an exchange.

Custom Orders

All items in my shop are 100% handmade, and are therefore not mass-produced. If you would like to place a custom order for any particular item, such as in a different color, and so on, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss the possibility of setting up a custom order.

Please understand that custom orders may have a longer lead time that varies case-by-case, and might also incur additional costs on raw materials or shipping. Buyer’s approval will be needed before a reserved listing is set up for you in my shop for you to actually place the custom order. Once the payment is cleared, I will begin making your custom order and ship the items to you as soon as they are completed.
